Well, all Fiddler does is to change the system proxy setting to point to itself on startup and set it back to automatic proxy detection on exit. Apparently this worked out just fine on your system.
Netbeans interaction with the system proxy settings seems to be the most probable cause for this problem provided that only Netbeans based software is affected. Or is this the case? Are other Netbeans projects on the same system affected? Are other apps, i.e the browsers affected? What is the scope of the problem?
